Subject: Recycle CFL and dry cell batteries

Follow-up to Jacky's query in April 2010, has there been anywhere we can dispose the above?

If not, what is the best way to dispose of them. Currently most people just throw into their kitchen refuse or rubbish bin.

Still there's only one in Seremban at the moment.

Other than Seremban, there isn't any other recycling center that take CFL and dry cell batteries unfortunately

Subject: Recycling light bulbs and tubes

Hi! I recycle most of the household garbage but am finding it difficult to locate the avenue to recycle light bulbs and tubes. I have been keeping them for quite some time and now have almost 10 tubes and a few bulbs. Can any one out there please tell me where to send them cause i don't want it to end up at the landfill and polluting the ground. Tks
